NOTE ON THE SUBMISSION OF MANUSCRIPTS
PLEASE READ THIS FIRST - Thanks!
Unfortunately, in the current economic climate, we are not looking to take on any new projects at present on an "at risk” basis, because we have decided that it is more prudent to put all our efforts and resources into selling existing titles, and completing work on things which we were already under contract to do before the current financial malaise which seems to be infesting the economy. Sadly, this means having to say `no’ to a lot of people that in other times, in other circumstances, might well have received a different answer, but this is how we got through the two previous recessions and we think it's the safest course of action.
Therefore we are not accepting any new submissions at this time and we have altered our entries in various publishing reference works and yearbooks to reflect this.
I hope that this disappointing reply will not deter budding authors from continuing with their writing. Remember, even the Beatles were rejected umpteen times before someone eventually took them on, and I do wish you, sincerely, whoever and wherever you are, the very best with your writing. Good luck!
